Summit Park is pleased to announce the hiring of Stephen Phillips as President and Chief Executive Officer and Scott Bogard as the Chief Financial Officer of Exacta Land Surveyors (“Exacta” or the “Company”), a Cleveland-based provider of land surveys and field management services used to facilitate residential and commercial real estate transactions. Summit Park invested in Exacta in February 2019.

Mr. Phillips joins Exacta with 20 years of leadership experience with real estate, business services and financial services companies. Most recently, Mr. Phillips was President at Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices, where he was responsible for the real estate franchise network of 400 independent owner-operators, 1,500 US locations and 46,000 agents. Before joining Berkshire Hathaway, Mr. Phillips held senior roles in consulting and financial services and served as President and Chief Operating Officer at GMAC Home Services. Mr. Phillips holds a MBA from Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a MS and BS from Southern Illinois University.

At Exacta, Mr. Bogard will be responsible for the Company’s finance and accounting functions, as well as support of the Company’s growth through acquisition strategy. Most recently, Mr. Bogard was CFO for Goldberg Companies, a fully-integrated multi-family and commercial real estate firm with over $1 billion in assets. Before joining Goldberg Companies, Mr. Bogard was CFO of Lumitex, and he previously held roles at The Riverside Company and Eaton Corporation. Mr. Bogard holds a MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College and a BA from Dartmouth College.
