Summit Park, a Charlotte-based private equity firm focused exclusively on the lower middle market, is pleased to announce the addition of Nishant Tulsian to our LEAD Program. The Leadership Excellence and Development (“LEAD”) Program develops talented, operationally-focused executives for leadership positions in the Summit Park portfolio. LEAD executives assume a meaningful and mission critical leadership role at a designated Summit Park investment, with a focus on growth and operational efficiency initiatives.

Mr. Tulsian joined the LEAD program as the Vice President of Operations at C.A.R.S. ProtectionPlus (“CARS”) where he is focused on driving sales, improving service delivery and optimizing business processes.

“Nishant is an excellent addition to the LEAD Program and the CARS team. His background will help add immediate value to the company and we expect he will contribute significantly to the continued growth of the company as they expand nationwide,” said Matt Magan, Principal at Summit Park. 

Prior to joining CARS, Mr. Tulsian was with the Office of the CEO at Enlivant, a TPG portfolio company. Previously, he was an investment banking Associate with Dresner Partners where he led numerous corporate finance advisory engagements across multiple industries. Prior to that, he held various leadership roles at Broadridge Financial Solutions and Citi Global Wealth Management.

Mr. Tulsian holds a BS in Computer Science and MS in Security Informatics from The Johns Hopkins University. He received his MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

Summit Park LEAD Program

Mr. Tulsian is the third executive hired to the LEAD Program. Adam Smith joined the program in 2018 as Vice President of Corporate Development at Fast Growing Trees. Andrew Lovrovich joined the program in 2017 and currently serves as Vice President of Operations at Tennessee Industrial Electronics.
